Public Procurement
Public buyers need to know three things about a supplier before anything else: that it is eligible, that it can perform, and that it will not create an audit problem later. This page sets out how Reliance participates in public procurement in Tanzania.
Eligibility and registration
We maintain the company registrations, tax standing and sector authorisations required to participate, and we provide current copies with every submission.
Responsive bidding
We read the solicitation in full before deciding to bid and respond to what it actually asks for. Where we cannot meet a mandatory requirement, we do not submit a bid that conceals the gap.
Documentation discipline
Every submission is checked against a compliance checklist before it is lodged — mandatory forms, signatures, seals, securities, authorisation letters, technical schedules and financial forms.
Performance after award
Delivery, inspection, installation and acceptance are documented to the standard the contract and the entity's audit requirements demand. Records are retained and can be produced on request.
Conduct
We compete on capability and price. We do not offer inducements, we do not collude, and we disclose any conflict of interest.
