Reliance Solutions and Technology
Corporate Integrity & Standards

Governance, Ethics and Compliance

Reliance competes for and delivers work on the basis of capability, price and performance. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to and what our clients, partners and suppliers can expect from us.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Reliance is registered and operates in the United Republic of Tanzania. We comply with applicable company, tax, employment, import and sector regulations, and we maintain the registrations and licences required for the work we undertake. Where a contract requires a specific authorisation we do not hold, we say so and either obtain it or decline the opportunity.

Procurement Conduct

In public procurement our participation is subject to the laws of Tanzania, the applicable procurement regulations, the requirements of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), the procedures of the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) where these apply, the terms of the solicitation document and the instructions of the procuring entity.

Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption

We do not offer, promise, give, request or accept any improper payment or advantage in connection with any tender, contract or business relationship. This applies to our staff, our agents and any partner acting on our behalf.

Fair Competition

We do not engage in collusive tendering, bid rigging, price fixing or market sharing. We do not lend or borrow company documents, misrepresent experience or capacity, or submit falsified certificates.

Conflicts of Interest

We disclose any relationship that could reasonably be seen to affect our objectivity in a procurement or contract, and we withdraw where a conflict cannot be properly managed.

Confidentiality and Non-Circumvention

Information shared with us by clients, suppliers and partners is used only for the purpose for which it was given. Where a partner introduces an opportunity, we protect the source of that introduction and do not approach the counterparty independently.

Raising a Concern

Anyone who believes that Reliance or a person acting for Reliance has breached these standards may report it in confidence to compliance@reliancesolutions.co.tz. Reports are reviewed by management and escalated to the board when necessary. We do not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
