Systems Built Around How Your Organisation Actually Works
Most organisations do not need more software. They need the software they have to reflect their processes, connect to their other systems and produce reliable information. Reliance designs, builds, integrates and supports business systems for organisations in Tanzania and the wider region — and stays responsible for them after go-live.
What We Build
| Service | Scope | Typical Deliverables |
|---|---|---|
| Custom web and mobile applications | Requirements analysis, user-experience design, development, testing, deployment and iteration for systems that have no suitable off-the-shelf equivalent. | Working application, source code, technical documentation, user guides, deployment scripts |
| ERP, HR, payroll, sales and inventory systems | Configuration or development of core operational systems covering finance, human resources, stock, sales and procurement processes. | Configured system, data migration, role and permission structure, reporting pack, trained users |
| System integration | Connecting new and existing systems so that data moves once and correctly — including core banking, mobile money, payment gateways, government platforms and third-party services. | Integration layer, API documentation, error handling and monitoring, reconciliation reporting |
| Database design and migration | Schema design, performance tuning, and controlled migration from legacy or spreadsheet-based records. | Migration plan, validated data, rollback procedure, performance benchmark |
| Business intelligence and reporting | Turning operational data into dashboards and reports that management will actually use for decisions. | Data model, dashboards, scheduled reports, definitions of every metric shown |
| Workflow automation and AI-supported processing | Automating repetitive processes such as approvals, document handling, classification and routine correspondence, with human review retained where decisions carry risk. | Automated workflows, exception handling, audit trail, review procedure |
| SAP-related services | Advisory, implementation support and integration work in SAP environments. | Scope document, configuration or integration work, handover documentation |
| Maintenance and user support | Ongoing correction, enhancement, monitoring and user assistance under an agreed service level. | Support agreement, response and resolution targets, change log, periodic service report |
How a Software Project Runs With Us
Discovery and specification
We spend time with the people who will use the system before we write anything. The output is a written specification covering scope, user roles, data, integrations, reporting, security requirements and explicit exclusions. Nothing is built from a verbal brief.
Phased build with visible progress
Work is delivered in phases with a working version available for review at the end of each. You see progress in the system, not in a status report.
Testing before handover, not after
Functional testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing are completed and signed off before go-live. Defects found during acceptance are corrected at our cost.
Migration and go-live planning
Data migration is planned, tested on a copy, validated against source records and given a rollback route before it is run in production.
Training and documentation
Users are trained on the live system and receive written guides. Administrators receive technical documentation, credentials handover and, where the client owns the code, the source repository.
Support after go-live
Support terms are agreed before the project starts, not negotiated after it ends. Response and resolution targets are written into the agreement.
Tell Us What the System Needs to Do
Send us the problem rather than a feature list. We will come back with an approach, an indicative timeline and a clear view of what is and is not included.
