Electric Fleets, Supported for the Whole of Their Working Life

Reliance imports, assembles, distributes and supports electric-mobility products for commercial transport, logistics, institutions and fleet operators in Tanzania. Working with YAOYAO Energies and approved manufacturing and technical partners, we coordinate vehicles, energy systems, digital fleet tools and the after-sales service that determines whether an electric fleet actually works in daily operation.

Commercial Realities

Cheaper Per Kilometre Only Counts If the Vehicle Is Working

An electric tricycle can carry the same load for a fraction of the fuel cost. That advantage disappears the moment a battery fails and there is no replacement in the country, or a controller needs a technician nobody has trained. Our model is built around that risk: we hold parts, we train technicians, we support the charging arrangement and we plan battery replacement into the operating cost from the beginning.

End-to-End Fleet Architecture

Electric Mobility Capabilities

Capability What it covers
Importation Sourcing from approved manufacturers, order coordination, shipping, insurance, customs clearance, duty and tax handling, and inland delivery.
Local assembly and preparation Assembly, inspection, quality checks, fitting of accessories and pre-delivery preparation before any unit is released to a customer.
Electric tricycles and motorcycles Cargo and passenger tricycles, motorcycles and related components, selected for load, terrain and duty cycle rather than sold from a single specification.
Commercial fleet solutions Fleet sizing against routes and payloads, phased deployment, and operational planning with the operator's own supervisors.
Lithium battery systems Battery supply, approved replacement components, capacity planning, handling and storage guidance, and end-of-life handling arrangements.
Battery swapping and charging infrastructure Swap-station and charge-point planning, electrical requirements, site preparation coordination and installation.
Solar-supported charging Solar-assisted charging options for sites with weak grid supply or high daytime tariffs, sized against the fleet's actual charging profile.
Telemetry and fleet monitoring Vehicle tracking, trip and utilisation data, battery-state monitoring and reporting that a fleet manager can act on.
Training Rider and driver training on safe operation and battery handling; technician training on diagnostics, servicing and component replacement.
Spare parts and maintenance Parts planning and stockholding, scheduled servicing, breakdown response and warranty administration.
Institutional fleet procurement Support for public and institutional buyers procuring electric fleets, including specification drafting, tender documentation and phased deployment.
Deployments

Who This Is For

Last-mile delivery and couriers

Cargo tricycles, charging or swapping arrangement, telemetry, rider training, maintenance agreement.

Market and distribution traders

Single units or small fleets, financing introduction where appropriate, parts access and servicing.

Institutions and campuses

Internal transport fleets, on-site charging, driver training, maintenance under a service agreement.

Waste, municipal and utility operations

Purpose-configured tricycles, duty-cycle planning, robust servicing arrangements.

Agricultural and rural distribution

Load and terrain-appropriate specification, solar-supported charging where grid supply is weak.

Fleet financiers and leasing companies

Specification, deployment, servicing and telemetry support behind a leasing or asset-finance product.

Operational Economics

What It Actually Costs to Run

Before purchase we prepare a written operating comparison for the specific routes and loads involved. It covers purchase price and any financing cost, expected energy cost per kilometre against current fuel cost, servicing intervals and cost, expected battery life and replacement cost, insurance, and residual value assumptions. We show the assumptions rather than only the conclusion, so the operator can challenge them.

Manufacturing & Finance

For Manufacturers, Financiers and Fleet Partners

Reliance works with vehicle and component manufacturers seeking a Tanzanian route to market, with financiers structuring asset finance or leasing for electric fleets, and with operators willing to run structured pilots. We provide importation and clearing coordination, local assembly, distribution, warranty administration, technician capability and after-sales presence.
